The Firefox browser aims to take the dominant position away from Microsoft and its Internet Explorer product. Indeed, early indications are that the browser is indeed taking share away from Microsoft with some researchers indicating IE's market share has dropped 5% since May to 88.9% with Mozilla browsers, including Firefox, responsible for around 7% of the market."
